Christmas Holidays

Postby Wayland Davis on Sun Dec 19, 2010 11:41 pm

It goes without saying that the past year has been a difficult one as we have lost several of our legendary Horsemen but they will not be forgotten as long as their deeds and names are remembered. It is a given that life will not last forever, and if we are to do anything in the coming New Year-- then honor those that led us professionally on to making our history of being "Combat Engineers" in times, which had tested each of us serving in war. Remember our buddies and give thanks that most of us returned to our families, and who continued to hold us tightly as love and kindness is a treasure looking into the bright-eyes that awaited our return. Bless those that make a home for us, and the children that are our legacy as they are the real keepers of our birthright, and proof of our passing existence. Hopefully, we did a good job raising those that bear our names too remain and honor us in ways that will survive the test of time.
To all my brothers in arms that served this great country; may the blessing of good health, and have a good place to rest your head, a table to feed your hunger be your just rewards as the blessed season of Christmas, and a hopeful better New Year be yours for the duration of a very long life. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Best Regards,
Wayland
